5000 SUBSCRIBERS ON YOUTUBE!!!!!!! THANK YOU
Hello friends of the internet welcome back to the blog. I hope all of you are having amazing productive days today. For those of you who have been here before thanks for coming back to check out another video. I appreciate it. If you’re new here take a look around and if you like what you see consider subscribing the the YouTube channel.
Today is an exciting day. Time for a mini celebration. I finally reached 5000 subs. Woohoo. I know in the grand scheme of things 5000 subscribers isn't really that much when there are lots of channels out there with over a million subscribers but all that considered I'm grateful to have achieved this personal goal and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has subscribed so far. I really appreciate all of you.
It’s certainly been a grind to get here. From changing the channel’s direction a few times to being demonetized when YouTube changed their eligibility limits. It’s been a long ride and I feel I’ve made my mistakes and learned a lot over the past few years. I am grateful for all the experiences that have gotten me this far and now i’ll use what I have learned to get me to my next goal of 10,000 subscribers.
Over the past few weeks you may have noticed me rolling out new channel graphics in order to commemorate this new chapter in my channel’s growth. I’ve decided to go with a very bold high contrast black and white look. I decided on this because black and white goes with everything and won’t look out of place in any situation. I also think it looks really cool too.
I’ve also changed the channel name and logo from VX2TV to VASKO OBSCURA. The VX2TV project is no more. I was debating on keeping the branding because people are used to it but seeing as I plan on taking the channel in a slightly new direction and focusing it more on teachable content I figured it was best to use my name instead of VX2TV which really didn’t mean anything anymore. My choice to do this stemmed from what I was reading in a book called Fast Track Photographer by Dane Sanders. He talks about the importance of building a signature brand and that really resonated with me. So my channel is now Vasko Obscura and my web site has also changed to www.vaskoobscura.com all my social media is set to @vaskoobscura and I’ve also created branding across all my social media with a unified branding.
I’m pretty excited about these new steps towards a new chapter in my YouTube adventure. I feel as though the learning experiences of the past 5 years are going to serve as a valuable foundation for what is to come in the next 5 years. Cheers to the future.
