Urban portraits with Stefania Cima. Always a pleasure working with Stefania on a shoot. She came out with this awesome outfit that worked perfectly for this concrete jungle location. Urban portraits are always a fun challenge because you never know what kind of lighting you’re going to get and the feel of a location can change drastically in different lighting conditions. I shot these portraits for my YouTube video comparing the RF 85mm f1.2 L and the RF 28-70mm f2 L. If you want to watch the video comparing both lenses click here. All photos in this set where shot with those lenses. Personally the 85mm focal length is my favorite for shooting people. It has just a touch of compression and an incredible ability to isolate your subject from the background. If you haven’t had the change to shoot with an 85mm yet I would strongly recommend it.
