HOW TO SHOOT SELFIES WITH POCKET WIZARDS + PHOTOS
If you’re looking for the ultimate selfie shooting camera try using Pocket Wizards with a Remote Camera Cable to trigger your camera. I’ve been using Pocketwards on my Canon EOS R5 to shoot thumbnails for a while. You can shoot selfies with your traditional wide lenses but you can also use longer lenses to give you a distinctly different look. Using Pocket Wizards to trigger your camera opens up some creative opportunities as you can hook up several cameras to one trigger and then set them off all at the same time. So even if you can’t be in several places at once your cameras can be. This is a handy little trick to keep in your back pocket for those moments when you need a shot of yourself but don’t have anybody to shoot you.
🔍 One note I’ll add in here in case you missed it in the video. If you buy the Pocket Wizard Remote Camera Cable make sure to get the one that is compatible with your camera system. Each camera brand has a different remote control port.
