ANON EOS R VS EOS R7 WHICH CAMERA IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
If you’re thinking about buying a Canon EOS R7 you might also consider buying a Canon EOS R as well. Both cameras are so similarly priced that I’m sure many people have wondered which one would be the better camera for their needs. In this video I look at the Canon R and Canon R7’s specs and try to help you determine which camera you should buy for your needs. In the end the EOS R and EOS R7 are both fantastic cameras and any creator would be happy to have either one in their camera bag. The EOS R7 is clearly aimed at sports and wildlife shooters so it’s important to understand the limitations of the electronic shutter. The mechanical shutter fires at 4 milliseconds and can shoot at 15fps. The electronic shutter can shoot at 30fps but the issue is that the readout speed of the sensor sits at 31.3 milliseconds which is really slow when it comes to sports photography.
The really nice thing about both the EOS R and R7 shutters is that they are both rated for 200,000 shots.
