Contax Zeiss Vario Sonnar 28-70mm f3.5-4.5

The Vario-Sonnar was designed as Ziess’ compact zoom lens aimed at photographers who wanted the convenience of a compact zoom lens without sacrificing too much image quality. This little lens also features a macro mode that can be enabled when you twist the zoom ring past 70mm. This lens has an aspheric lens element along with special optical glass with anomalous partial dispersion. Together they produce superb image quality while keeping the lens compact. I’ll update this info as I learn more about this lens.
