SONY A7III FOCUS TEST WITH CANON LENSES AND METABONES ADAPTER
Hey guys, here is the video you Canon shooters were waiting for. In this video I test all my Canon glass on the Sony A7III with the fifth generation Metabones adapter. I have to say I’m pretty impressed with this Canon glass on a Sony body setup. It’s not perfect but it is definitely very usable. One thing I didn’t do in this video is test autofocus in low light conditions. My model had to take off but I will be trying that in an upcoming video soon.
[UPDATE] - Since this video has been made metabones had made a few firmware updates to their system and not the auto focus in stills and video mode does work a lot better than it did at the time that I filmed this video.
A few people have asked me which Metabones adapter I'm using. here is the link to the one I ordered: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1314043-REG/metabones_mb_ef_e_bt5_canon_ef_e_mount_t.html
