SENNHEISER AVX MKE2 WIRELESS LAVALIER MICROPHONE UNBOXING AND TESTING
If you’re thinking of buying a lavalier microphone for YouTube this is the mic you want. The Sennheiser AVX MKE2 mic is amazing. Not only does it have amazing audio quality but the AVX system will automatically level out your audio before it goes into your recording device. I’ve saved so much time by not having to post-process my audio. When you’re pumping out at least one video a week plus client work not having to worry about audio is a huge plus. If you choose to invest in this microphone system I only have two minor complaints about it. The first is that it runs on proprietary batteries meaning that when they run out on set you can’t just pop in a fresh set of AA batteries. On the plus side they can run off a USB power bank. The other negative is that you can only use one transmitter and one receiver as a set. I wish that Sennheiser made an option which allowed multiple channels to transmit to one receiver. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase. This is going to be my go-to mic for 90% of my videos going forward.
