SARAH SCOTFORD - MOONLIGHT LOOK
As you know I'm constantly experimenting with different lighting styles and post processing techniques. I can't sit still. I need to keep evolving myself and my work. There's always something new to discover and learn everyday so why not experiment and see what it leads to. Complacency leads to boring work. Well at least that's how I feel about it. Here's something new. I shot these images back in December 2010 in the Dominican Republic. I had an idea as to how I wanted to edit them and started experimenting. It took some time but I finally came up with a method that I was happy with. My goal was to create a dark moonlight effect.
This first shot is an example of how the images looked right out of camera and the rest are the Lightroom preset I made to make everything look like a dark moonlit night. I also experimented with trying to make these images look like old film camera shots.
