NEW BRANDING ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about branding. Back in 2015 I split my business into two. I had one web page for glamour work and another web page for my commercial portrait and wedding work. However, with my YouTube channel becoming a bigger and bigger part of my long term business plan things are changing. With the YouTube channel bridging everything together it feels pointless to separate my work. I’m still going to keep my second web page dedicated to my wedding and commercial work but I’ll also bring that content over to this web page so that I can have all my work in one place. My choice revolves around the YouTube community I am building. I would rather have one main web page with all info and content so the community can find content easily.
In my thought process I also decided to re-brand everything with a catchy new logo that will work well across all my platforms. I’m really happy with the new design and I think it’s going to be really beneficial to have consistent branding across the board. I liked Studio V but at the same time what or who was Studio V? It was just a business name with no personality behind it. The new branding is going to focus on building a signature brand rather than just a business name. I’m really looking forward to this next evolution in the direction of my business.
For those of you who are here from my YouTube channel I’m working on new graphics and animations and transitions that are inline with the new branding including a new opener and endscreen. I’m super hyped for this. Everything is starting to come together.
