LIFE HACK - HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IN 2021
Hi everyone. 2020 was a challenging year for a lot of us. 2021 has a lot of promise but we're still in the thick of this pandemic. Being isolated from the people we love and not being able to take part in the social activities we enjoy is really is really hard. Mental health has also become a big issue over the course of this pandemic. The activities and the people that give us a sense of belonging and relief from the stress of everyday life seem like a distant memory at times.
A few years ago I was really struggling mentally. I found myself in a really negative mindset and it was stifling my ability to move forward in life and be productive. A friend of mine suggested journaling my feelings on a webpage called Penzu.com. Initially I thought it would just be waste of time. But I did it anyway and over time it really helped me understand what was happening in my life from a third person's perspective. That really opened my eyes and allowed me to make the changes I needed to make in order to get back on track. Just the act of admitting I needed help and wanted to make my life better brought about a lot of positive change. Bring things back to today, I have some friends who have struggled through 2020 and after journaling for a few months they have stated to see some positive changes. I thought I would make this video and give a little advice to anybody out there who might be needing to hear this right now. Even if this video helps one person out there the effort would have been totally worth it.
