FRANKIE KENNEDY - NINE5FOUR CANADA MAGAZINE
This past July I had the pleasure of working with Megan Powell on a beautiful luxury yacht. This is the shoot that almost didn't happen. It was a hot sticky day in the city and I couldn't wait to feel the cool breeze out on the water. Paul the magazine editor, Sarah Ve the Makeup artist, Swimwear designer Tatiana Vano and the models all met up at the marina parking lot ready to head out on the water but our yacht was missing. That's a new one to add to the list of #PhotographerProblems (Read that story here) Eventually we sorted out the, kinda important, no boat situation, and we were off into the cool refreshing lake breeze. We spent the afternoon out on the lake weaving between the Toronto islands looking for good spots to shoot. I got fantastic shots of Megan doing her thing all over the boat. That polarizer sure came in handy shooting in the bright summer sun. I was really happy with the way the shots came out. Megan is such a silly playful personality it was really refreshing working with her. I hope to run into more models like here. As the chief photographer for Nine5Four Canada Magazine i'm sure I will. :)
