Foggy Night - nFD 85mm f1.2 L

Shooting in the fog is always such a treat, the only tricky part is you never know when it’s going to roll in. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time to capture these atmospheric shots with the Canon nFD 85mm f1.2 L.

One of the great things about this lens is how much light it lets in when shooting wide open at f1.2, which makes it a fantastic option for night photography. Even with just a few streetlights, you can capture beautifully lit images without cranking up the ISO too much. That fast aperture also delivers some gorgeous, creamy background bokeh, giving your shots that dreamy, cinematic feel, but I’ll dive more into that in another post. For now, enjoy these foggy frames!
