If you’re into the 85mm focal length this lens is an absolute dream. The autofocus motors are much faster than the previous EF model. The image quality and detail that this lens captures is impressive. The resolving power is amazing. I have a feeling this lens was designed to one day pair up with a 100 megapixel sensor. On the negative side it might be too sharp. I often use it with a low strength diffusion filter like the Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/8.
