It was a cold day in May when we shot these photos on the shores of Lake Ontario. Weather report said it was going to be warmer. Franke loves being in front of the camera so I don’t think the temperature bothered her much.

For those of you who are here because you’re interested in how the Sony A7III preforms with Canon lenses I’ll be making a full review video about that for my YouTube channel. These images where shot with the A7III + Metabones Adapter + Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 L and the Canon EF 24-70 f2.8 L. I still have to do more testing but it appears that the camera’s focus is not as responsive using adapted lenses so if I focus on the eyes while half pressing the shutter and drift a little closer or farther from the subject I can get some missed focus images. Also Frankie wasn’t the only thing freezing on the beach that day. The A7III would lock up from time to time while trying to focus. I just rest the camera by turning it off and on again and it worked again. Subscribe to my YouTube channel for more.
