ADRIANA - BLACK & WHITE PORTRAIT
I was shooting a project for a T-Shirt company with the beautiful Adriana and we had some good natural light coming in through a south facing window. I couldn’t resist the urge to turn off the studio lights and experiment with a bit of natural light. As a creative these are the moments I live for. Setting out of the box and letting something unique and unscripted organically unfold. Truth be told this is also a great way to make shoots longer then they need to be and get in trouble with creative directors but lucky for me on this day I was working solo with not time constraint. I love the way this shot came out. This shot is an absolute gem. Hope you internet people love it too. Cheers to more spontaneous creative moments.
This was shot with an EOS R and RF 24-105 f4 L. I was shooting in direct sunlight coming from a window so I had to control the light by closing down the aperture to f11. This allowed me to to expose for the skin on the face and everything in the shadows fell into darkness putting more visual emphasis on the subject matter.
